Cottages in the Woods

October Saturday 19, and Sunday 20, from 10 am to 4pm Cottages in the Woods will be celebrating its 11th year. This unique event is held in the historic Good Templar Park of Geneva, IL. This family friendly annual event is 8$ per person, children under 12 are free.



Open to tour, each offering a variety of delightful wares from talented artists and craftspeople. Visitors will find many items including handmade pottery, jewelry, birdhouses, vintage and collectible items, watercolor, rosemaling, and Dala maling pieces.

Troll Scavenger hunt , hidden fairy’s, Feed the Troll, Troll in One, Tic Tac Troll,.

Visit the children's Troll lodge, where they can make and take a troll night light.

We will have musicians playing from 1-3 each day.

Please note that the cottages are nestled in the woods. We have no paved paths leading to cottages and the terrain could be difficult for those who can not walk on uneven ground.

CASH works best as our reception in woods for credit cards can be spotty. Special lines will be devoted to cash at the entry.

Where to park? Inside Good Templar park at 528 Eastside drive Geneva, Il . There will be people to guide you where to park.


The Viking ship will be open for tours ($5 a person) on October 19 and 20th from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
